ABOUT KEZ the GREAT!
Hi I'm Kez. KEZ the Artist, Kez the Rebel: KEZ for short! Well I'm Kerrie Turner, prefer KEZ for my artname though! Life has taken me down DARK routes! I became KEZ for short!
I am an ARTIST & DESIGNER & MUSICIAN. I work through many mediums, primarily a digital artist now because I like the way digital media brings my various threads of creativity together. I am a photographer and filmmaker and also writer and musician (guitarist /songwriter) therefore digital media allows me to work accross the areas freely and also tie them together nicely as you can see on my website!
As for KEZ the person, I am the artist that designed this site! I am creative, full of ideas and colour and humour and exaggerated emotion! I also am an adult entertainer and a model, including adult modeling, which means I take on various roles including carrying out role play scenarios, which can be fun, but it means I spend time switching through different characters, often I feel that I have split personalities, this website will eventually reveal some of my various characters. The boundaries between art & life has merged as I sold my body to produce my art and I left my personal morality far behind! My photographic work over the last 3 years is primarily self-portraiture as I travel around London, often dressing up and having secret rendezvous and photoshoots! I also have made some films and I am hoping to make more films this year. One of my most sucessful films is Loretta Lashes, luckily I am a musician so I create soundtracks for my films which means my films are entirely created by me - KEZ!

I try to lead a MINDFUL life, by thinking about the environment, our friends the animals and the planet aswell as the universe and what this existence means. I think it is very important we think about the Earth, each other and the flora and fauna of Earth. I dislike cars and traffic immensely! If I was Primeminister I would ban cars immediately and replace them will electric vehicles, in my opinion the combustion engine is an unecessary EVIL! I just hate cars, traffic and traffic fumes and I often stand in street swearing at them, which means people often think that I am a NUTCASE! The planet is dying and one of the main reasons is emmissions, its time to change and find alternatives. It hurts me to witness stupid people destroying the planet coz they are FUCKIN LAZY!
So look after the environment - you've ONLY GOT ONE PLANET!!
I am continuing writing a book, although its coming along very slowly, it has been hindered by the theft of the initial ideas. The creation of my book is a therapeutic activity that I do to calm my mind, think and reflect over. Its about space, the universe, life, death, consciousness, reality, humanity, Earth, science, aliens, spaceships and man's contact with extra-terrestrial life and the outcomes of such an event. Its still early days and I don't know the outcome yet, if, indeed, I will get to the end. Itmay turn out to be a TRAGEDY! Humanity doesn't give me much hope, greed and selfishness seem to be the driving force behind most people and that is a destroying force. People do not seem able to think past their own lifespan, they just want to get from A to B and make lots of money. Not the way to preserve humanity and the Earth.
The book is watercolour paintings, I find brush to paper is healing, grounding, honest and therapeutic. Digital media is very important to me and my work and for the final production of my art. However, I find painting watercolours to be something I have an emotional attachment to and devote time and worth into as a way of thinking in a visually analytical way and also in an emotionally expressive way. Perhaps this is why my watercolours often contain geometric forms and relationships. I wish my life could develop in such a clean, clear and harmonius manner. Maybe I should devote more time into these paintings and perhaps my life may follow accordingly, which would be extremely benefical, it may even rescue me before I drift away and sink under.
I have been working on Digital montages, I enjoy creating these 'fusions' in which I mix photographs of myself working in the sex-industry or modelling or pornographic images with paintings or other found images to create vivid, slap-happy, sometimes brash and tacky, often bright images that correlate with the world of Graphic Design all around us, although I think they can carry an ironic relationship with advertising, because the images are of me in extremely vulnerable situations. This is what gives my work the status and value of Fine Art.
